Where Madjang started
The foundations of Madjang lays in the belief of providing seasonally available seafood with a taste that you have never experienced before at affordable prices.
The name “Madjang” comes from a nickname for Head Chef Enrico’s mother, Maria Leonardo Magcanlas whose unique cooking style encouraged Enrico to master the art of cooking Filipino Cuisine. The tradition of cooking seafood has been practiced for generations with Maria beginning the tradition by selling crabs at Roxas Blvd. during the early years of 1960. This career captivated Enrico and he has since been delighting the local neighborhood with 33 years of dedication to his craft.
Many of his customers are regular visitors, as the art of preparing seafood requires tremendous attention to detail along with the capability of impressing many notable people such as Mr. Henry C, Jessica Soho, Connie Sison, Ruby Rodriguez, Sen. Naptali Gonzales Hadjie Alejandro and many more.

Enrico is a self-taught professional who has dedicated 33 years to mastering the art of preparing delicious seafood and Filipino cuisine. The recipes are based on a slow and meticulous process of delivering Filipino flavour to freshly caught seafood. Using the best ingredients and spices, along with the mastery of finding seafood that is fresh, Enrico and his team are dedicated to providing you the best experience when you dine at Madjang.
